Prior to starting Point Modular Homes in 2012, Mike Homa worked for Pascal-Turner Homes for 29 years as COO. At Pascal-Turner Homes, Mike Homa began building with modular homes in 2004.

Mike not only has experience, but he has passion for what he does. He will treat building your new home as if he was building his own. He knows that customers do not proceed until they are comfortable that everything (plans, finishes, and budget) is accounted for.

Our Values

Transparency, Quality and Trust.

Our goal is to be as transparent as possible. Deciding to build a house is a big decision and we recognize that. No matter how big or small your budget is, we will work with you to make your vision a reality.

By setting realistic expectations from the start, we aim for no surprises when it comes to the final cost. You can expect your Project Budget to include the following:

  • Cost of modular home

  • Set up

  • Home onsite options

  • Engineering

  • Preconstruction

  • Foundation

  • City/county fees & permits

  • Utilities and site options

PMH believes that the quality of modular home is better than a “stick built” for many reasons:

  • Modular construction is typically 10% to 15% more cost effective than comparable site built housing. This is based on the tremendous efficiencies in volume purchasing of materials and building every day in a factory. Modular homes are built stronger using 15% to 20% more lumber than a site built home.

  • By building in a factory, there are more stringent internal quality control inspections during the course of construction. Our quality in most cases is more consistent than comparable priced site built construction. Long term employees in the factory is a big factor in the consistent quality compared to the labor of the day” workforce.

  • Building in a climate controlled factory allows you to eliminate mold and other material degradation issues.

PMH works closely with these manufacturers out of Pennsylvania: Custom Building Systems, Professional Building Systems and Simplex Homes. All three manufacturers encourage factory visits to see the benefits of a home being built in a factory firsthand.
